Just Dance!

Are you ready to “use your muscle, carve it out, work it, hustle”? Then “there’s no reason at all why you can’t leave” Dawson with us and “just dance!”
During this Winterim, students will take daily lessons from the mind-bogglingly talented artists at Streetside Studios in Boulder, ultimately creating a program of primarily hip-hop and modern fusion-based dances to be performed for friends and family at the end of the week.

In addition to dancing ourselves, we will also get to see some professionals at work: We’ll start Winterim week a little early by attending a production of The Wizard of Oz performed by Colorado Ballet at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in Denver on Sunday. Then on Wednesday evening, we will again journey back to Denver to see a production of the Broadway musical Boop!

Along the way, we’ll sample various local Boulder establishments for lunch and  make sure to wrap the week up with a celebration of all our exertions with some well-deserved dessert.

So, get ready to have the time of your life as you dance the day away during a week that will prove just how great it can feel to “just dance!”
